Presented is a signed, typed letter from legendary singer and actress Tina Turner to the 20th Century Fox movie studio. Turner has signed her name in blue pen on the February 23, 1983 typed letter to the payroll department at the studio, seeking a re-issued check. The letter is on the letter head of “Jess S. Morgan & Company, Inc.” a management firm located in Los Angeles.
One of the best-selling recording artists of all time, Turner has been referred to as The Queen of Rock 'n' Roll and has sold more than 200 million records worldwide. In the 1980s, Turner launched a major comeback as a solo artist. The 1983 single "Let's Stay Together" was followed by the 1984 release of her fifth solo album, Private Dancer, which became a worldwide success. The album contained the song "What's Love Got to Do with It", which became Turner's biggest hit and won four Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year. Turner’s signature has been authenticated by PSA/DNA, and the letter has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (84136962) and graded AUTHENTIC.
