Offered is a 286-card near set (missing #288 Jordan for completion) of 1984-85 Star basketball cards. Star Co. held exclusive licensing and thus owned the basketball card market in 1984, and the company produced about four thousand 288-card NBA sets – with each of the league's teams bagged separately. Four cards have been graded by BGS. The first dozen cards in this set are in an unopened bag. Key highlights include: #'s 101 Jordan (BGS NM 7), 195 Jordan (BGS EX-MT+ 6.5), 202 Barkley (BGS NM-MT 8) and 237 Olajuwon (BGS NM+ 7.5). Mostly NM to NM-MT (balance is lesser).
