Presented here is a baseball signed by over 30 members of the World Series champion 1984 Detroit Tigers. The Tigers defeated the San Diego Padres in five games, with long-serving shortstop Allan Trammel claiming World Series MVP honors. Hall of Fame manager Sparky Anderson has signed the sweet spot of this Official 1984 World Series Peter V. Ueberroth baseball. Other signatures include Trammell, Jack Morris, Kirk Gibson, Lou Whitaker, Roger Craig, Rusty Kuntz, Doug Bair, Chet Lemon, Bill Consolo, Larry Herndon, Randy O’Neal, Gates Brown, Barbaro Garbey, Bill Scherrer, Howard Johnson, Dan Petry, and several more. Please note that Morris signed his name directly over the 1984 World Series logo on the panel south of Ueberroth’s stamped signature. The signatures have been written in black pen. This item comes with a LOA from Tigers pitcher Sid Monge, as well as a LOA from JSA.
