All Time Hit King Pete Rose was on his way in 1984 to breaking TY Cobb’s MLB record of most career hits. This 33.5 inch, 33.2 ounce un-cracked Mizuno PR4000 bat has been confirmed by the manufacturer’s ordering records as being ordered by the player during the referenced labeling period (1984). There is no evidence of game use and the letter “A” is stamped to the knob which designates this bat as a professional model. Rose signed his name in black marker on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B08617) for the game issue and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A04446) for his signature.
