In 1984 the Detroit Tigers won 104 regular season games under the leadership of legendary manager Sparky Anderson. They swept the Kansas City Royals in three games to win the American League flag, setting up a World Series showdown with the San Diego Padres of the Senior Circuit. The Tigers easily defeated the Padres in five games, with veteran shortstop Allan Trammell winning World Series MVP honors, handing the team their fourth World Series title.

This Official American League Bobby Brown baseball has been signed by 41 members of the title-winning Tigers, with Hall of Fame manager Sparky Anderson’s signature, along with that of team coach Roger Craig, located on the sweet spot. Other signatures include Allan Trammel, Lou Whitaker, Bill Scherrer, Lance Parrish, Dwight Lowery, Willie Hernandez, Milt Wilcox, Roger Mason, Gates Brown, Sid Monge, Juan Berenguer, and more. The signatures have been written in black and blue pen. This item comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
