This Chicago Bears Riddell helmet has been signed by 30 members of the 1985 Super Bowl XX champion Chicago Bears. The Hall of Fame running back Walter Payton has signed the right side of the crown of this helmet in silver marker, inscribing “Sweetness” and “16,726” in addition to his signature. The other signatures on this helmet include the Hall of Famers Mike Ditka, Richard Dent, and Mike Singletary, while other signatures include Gary Fencik, Jim McMahon, William Perry, Thomas Sanders, Dennis Gentry, Henry Waechter, Reggie Phillips, Jim Morrissey, Ken Taylor, Keith Van Horne, Maury Buford, Tom Thayer, Mark Bortz, Emery Moorehead, Mike Tomczak, Steve McMichael, Calvin Thomas, Otis Wilson, and several others. Richard Dent inscribed “MVP XX” and Mike Singletary inscribed “S.B. XX” below their signatures. This helmet comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A77250) for Payton’s signature and a hologram from Schwartz Sports Memorabilia (A0268419) for the remaining signatures.
