For 20 years Alex Trammell nailed down the shortstop position for Detroit, carving out a career that culminated with a plaque hanging in Cooperstown. During the 1980s Tram was the best-hitting shortstop in the game, and during the 1986-1988 seasons, he hit a collective .311 with a pair of All-Star Game appearances. Used during those three seasons, Trammell’s Worth WC127 model bat shows good game use. The barrel shows several ball marks with stitch impressions along with bat rack paint streaks. There are cleat imprints visible and the barrel end has Trammell’s number “3” handwritten in black marker. The knob has been stamped with the Tigers star’s initials, “AT” and the bats specs and his uniform number “3” and “III” is handwritten in black. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18438) for the game use and a LOA for the signature.
