In the history of the Milwaukee Brewers no man was better than The Ignitor, Paul Molitor. No matter where you put him – infield, outfield, DH – Molitor would somehow find a way to beat the opposing team. In 1987 Molitor posed a serious threat to Joe DiMaggio’s famous consecutive game hitting streak when he banged out hits in 39 straight games. This offered Cooper H176 model bat was used by Molitor during the 1986-1992 seasons, shows outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers and black bat rack streaks present on the barrel. There is a light coating of pine tar on the bat’s handle. The bats length “34” and weight “32oz” are stamped into the knob end over which Molitor’s number “4” is handwritten in black marker. Molitor has signed his name in gold marker on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B26001) for the game use and has been given a very high grade of GU 9.5, plus a LOA from Beckett Authentication (AB09429) for Molitor’s signature.
