After a stellar career at Boston College where he won the 1984 Heisman Trophy as a senior, quarterback Doug Flutie starred with the New Jersey Generals of the defunct USFL for two seasons before joining the Chicago Bears for the 1986 season. Flutie appeared in four games completing 23 of 46 passes and three touchdowns. Flutie wore this home dark blue Bears jersey during the 1986 season. This mesh jersey is a size 42 manufactured by Wilson and features Flutie’s number “2” screen-printed in white with orange borders. The Bears’ three orange stripes with white borders are screen-printed on the sleeves with “GSH” on the left sleeve. The Wilson size 42 tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail and the back has “FLUTIE” screen-printed in white with orange borders on a matching dark blue mesh nameplate. This jersey displays moderate game use with some small holes and team repairs and comes with LOAs from RGU and PM&G for the game use.
