It was 1987 when Bo Jackson began to make the average baseball fan realize he wasn’t just a great football player, but also a budding star in the Majors. The 1987 season saw Jackson hit 22 home runs in 116 games. Presented here is Louisville Slugger R161 model bat that was used by Jackson and dates to the 1987 season. This bat displays light game use and is un-cracked. There are some ball marks and blue ink transfers on the barrel and the top barrel shows abrasion marks from contact with the ground. This comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B26235) for the game use and has been graded a GU 7.5.
