Offered is a rare game used uniform from one of the Arena Football League’s charter teams, the Denver Dynamite. The team was in existence from 1987-1991 (not playing in the 1988 season) before eventually folding due to filing for bankruptcy.

This particular uniform, complete with a white jersey and yellow pants, matches the style worn by the inaugural 1987 team. The size 42 Wilson white mesh jersey was worn by Gary Mullen in that first season, his only season with the Gladiators. The number “1” is screen printed on the front, back and on both shoulders in blue and yellow. The Arena Football League logo is screen printed on the upper right shoulder and “MULLEN” was screen printed directly to the upper back. The only letter still readable is the “E”. Each sleeve also has a two thick yellow stripes with a blue stripe in the middle.

The yellow pants were also made by Wilson and have a size 32 waist. The inside waist band is white and does not have any player identification. Down each side of the pants are a mesh blue stripe with white borders, and the waist has a yellow built-in belt strap and a white lace-tied crotch. Each leg also has built-in thigh and knee pad holders. Both the jersey and pants show heavy game use with various paint marks and scuffs. This is truly a unique item from the Arena Football League’s inaugural season.
