Dantley, in his 13th NBA season and third with the Pistons, averaged 18.4 points in 42 games for the Pistons before he was traded to the Mavericks for Mark Aguirre. Dantley, a six-time All-Star, won two scoring titles and averaged 24.7 points per game across a 15-season career.
