Though his two-sport career was what led to his early retirement, back in 1988 Bo Jackson was the most versatile man in sports. His famous Nike "Bo Knows" campaign pushed the Heisman Trophy winner to superstar levels and his play with Kansas City at this time led to his single All-Star Game appearance. At the time Jackson used this bat, he was at the top of two professional sports and seemed unstoppable. The two-tone Louisville Slugger B310 model bat shows excellent use and is un-cracked. The barrel appears to have been coated with urethane and several ball marks with stitch impassions can be seen with blue ink transfers. The lower handle has been taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip and a light coat of pine tar is found on the lower handle and center brand. "Bo" has been hand written on the knob end in black marker. Letter of Authenticity (H53742) from PSA/DNA.
