One look at some of Dominique Wilkins’ dunks throughout his career and it’s no wonder he earned the nickname the “Human Highlight Film.” The Hall of Fame forward spent 12 seasons with the Atlanta Hawks and is 13th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list with 26,668 points.
This red 1988 Atlanta Hawks game used Dominique Wilkins road jersey features “Hawks” stitched across the front and “WILKINS” across the back in red tackle twill. Wilkins’ number “21” appears on the front and back of the jersey in gold-on-white tackle twill. The front tail of the jersey features a “MacGregor Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag with size “40” and two white strip tags stitched to the left that read “88” and “3”LB” indicating the jersey’s year and size modifications. The right chest of the jersey features an official stitched NBA logo patch. The jersey exhibits evidence of light game use and appears to be all original. The jersey comes with an LOA from Dave Miedema, noted sports jersey expert.
