Towards the end of his 18-year career, Mike Schmidt was still passing milestones, moving in front of Jimmie Foxx (534) and Mickey Mantle (536) and into seventh place on the all-time home runs list during the 1988 season.

This Adirondack/Rawlings 154A bat was used by Schmidt during the 1988 season displays outstanding game use and has a crack on the handle. There are ball marks with prominent black ink transfers, along with slight checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact that are found on the barrel and a light coat of pine tar is on the handle. The model number “154A”, order number “058” and year “8” are stamped into the knob and Schmidt’s number “20” is handwritten in dark blue marker. Schmidt has signed this bat in black marker on the barrel next to a heavy black transfer mark. A great signed stick from one of the greatest third baseman of the post-war era. This comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15340) for the game use and has been given a very high grade of GU 9.5. Additionally, there is a STICKER ONLY from JSA (A37190).
