The Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was presented with this County of Los Angeles Resolution of Congratulations in 1989. Abdul-Jabbar played his final NBA season in 1988-89, averaging double-digit points for the 20th consecutive season and leading the Showtime Lakers to yet another appearance in the NBA Finals. This Resolution of Congratulations presented to Abdul-Jabbar states that “Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is hereby highly commended and warmly congratulated for his professional and personal achievements”. This Resolution measures 11 x 19.5 inches and was presented to Abdul-Jabbar on August 29th, 1989. It comes in a 15 x 24-inch framed display. This Resolution is accompanied by a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar himself.
