The 10-time All-Star and Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett used this bat during the 1989 season in which he won the American League batting title with a .339 average as well as leading the league with 215 hits. Puckett’s 1989 Louisville Slugger C243 model bat displays outstanding use and has a crack on the handle. The barrel shows several ball marks and cleat imprints. The barrel also has blue ink transfers and checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact, while the upper handle/lower barrel has a moderate coating of pine tar. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA for the game use.
