Former NBA star Rick Fox enjoyed a stellar 13-season career playing for the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers. The Canadian-born forward out of the University of North Carolina, won three titles with the Lakers from 2000-2002 and retired following the 2004 season. Fox was a standout player for Dean Smith at UNC, where he was First-Team All-ACC in 1991.

Fox was on the 1989 North Carolina team that finished fourth in the ACC during the regular season, but caught fire in the ACC tournament, knocking off Georgia Tech, Maryland and arch-rival Duke in the championship game to capture the ACC Tournament title. Offered here is the ACC championship ring presented to sophomore Rick Fox. This ring has a light blue stone in the center with an interlocking “NC” in gold on top of the stone. “ATLANTIC COAST CONFERENCE” and “CHAMPIONS” surround the outside with “CAROLINA BASKETBALL” and two Tar Heel logos on the inner loop. One shank has “1989 NCAA”, a “UPI 4 TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS” logo and “29-8”. The inner band has “HJ 10K” and “Rick Fox” engraved. This ring is a size 12, weighs approximately 34.3 grams and is in good condition, showing some wear and comes with a LOA from Rick Fox.
