Montana engineered a 92-yard march downfield that culminated with a touchdown catch from Montana to wide receiver John Taylor with just 34 seconds left on the clock. 49ers wide receiver Jerry Rice caught 11 passes for a record 215 yards and one touchdown and was named the Super Bowl MVP.
