The 1990 Colorado Buffaloes started the season with a record of 1-1-1 after their first three games. They wouldn’t lose another game the rest of the season. After an extremely close, hard-fought 10-9 victory over Notre Dame in the Orange Bowl, the Buffaloes finished with an 11-1-1 record and a # 1 ranking in the final AP Poll. Running back Eric Bieniemy was the clear star of the team, rushing for 1,628 yards and 17 touchdowns, good for a third place finish in the Heisman Award voting.

Offered here is a Jostens 10K gold 1990 Colorado Buffaloes NCAA National Championship ring. A number “1”, filled with CZs, sits atop a large black stone on the ring’s face. “COLORADO 1990 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS” is displayed around the bezel setting in relief work. The left shank features the name “BROWN” and his number 87 (tight end Sean Brown caught seven balls for 86 yards for the season). Beautifully listed below are Colorado’s opponents and final scores for every game of the season. The other shank is centered by a team logo, with “WILL TO WIN” above and “GOLDEN BUFFALOES” below. Both the manufacturer and 10K marks can be seen inside the band of this approximate size 15 ring. Weight is approximately 36.5 grams and comes with owner's original purchase LOA.
