The Cubs second baseman found his power swing in 1990, hitting 40 home runs and bating .306. As would be expected from such a stellar season, Ryno's uncracked Rawlings Adirondack 256B bat shows heavy use. Many ball and stitch impressions are seen on the barrel as are blue bat rack streaks and black ink transfers. The model number "256B", order number "025" and year "90" are stamped into the knob end. Sandberg's number "23", weight "31.3" and model "256B" are hand written on the knob end in black marker. Sandberg has signed the barrel of the bat above the "BigStick" logo in blue marker. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat GU 9.
