Alan Trammell, the six-time Detroit Tigers All-Star, used this bat during the last six seasons of his 20-year career. By the time he retired after the 1996 season, Trammell had amassed four Gold Glove Awards to go with his 1984 World Series Championship and plaque in Cooperstown. The 1991-1996 Louisville Slugger D143 model bat shows great game use. There are many ball marks found on the barrel along with ink transfers and stitch impressions. There is the impression of a weighted batting donut along with several cleat imprints. The handle has a heavy coat of pine tar and Trammell’s number “3+” is handwritten on the knob end. The Hall of Famer has completed this gamer with a bold signature on the barrel in black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10 and a LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.
