Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr burst onto the Major League scene in 1989 with the Seattle Mariners. The sweet-swinging lefty ignited the Mariners’ franchise with his power, speed and glove work in center field. From 1991 through 1997, Junior averaged 37 home runs, 104 RBI and maintained a solid .304 batting average, culminated him winning the American League MVP in 1997.
This offered Louisville Slugger C271 model bat was used by Griffey during his prime years with the Seattle Mariners (1991-1997). This bat displays heavy game use and has a crack in the handle that has been repaired. There are numerous ball marks, stitch impressions and blue ink transfers on the barrel. The handle has tape running approximately 5 ½ inches from the knob and has a spaced criss-cross pattern to enhance the grip. This is a tremendous game used bat from the Hall of Famer with the highest percentage of votes and it comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15452) and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.
