For a time, it looked like Bo Jackson could do anything. As big a star on the gridiron as he was in the outfield, Jackson became a household name, even fronting his own line of Nike products. As could be expected, being a two-sport star had its consequences, and a hip injury suffered in the 1990 NFL Playoffs diminished his once boundless talents.
After hip replacement surgery, Jackson was picked up by the Chicago White Sox, and this Louisville Slugger BO16 model bat dates to that period. Bo’s bat shows outstanding use and is un-cracked. The barrel shows many ball marks and stitch impressions, including blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. Jackson signed his name in bold silver marker on the barrel and this bat comes with an LOA from PSA/DNA (1B10944) for the game use and has been graded a solid 9.5. There is also a COA from PSA/DNA (AC71650) for his signature.
