Only four men in the history of the game can claim to have 3,000 career hits, 300 career homers and a .300 or above career average. A 13 time All-Star and Hall of Famer, George Brett was the heart and soul of the Kansas City Royals and helped them to the 1980 American League pennant and 1985 World Series title.

During the later years of his Hall of Fame career, Brett wore this size L mesh jersey-style jacket. Dated to the 1991-93 seasons, this Majestic blue mesh jacket has the interlocking “KC” sewn on in white tackle twill on the upper left chest. This pullover has a zipper that comes down 4 ½ inches from the front collar and 5-inch pockets on both the front right and left sides. The collar has a ribbed material with blue, white and sky blue thick striping patterns, while the sleeve ends have a ribbed material with blue, sky blue and white stripes. The Majestic tag is sewn on the inside back collar and Majestic is embroidered in white on the right sleeve. Brett’s number “5” is sewn on the back and left sleeve in white tackle twill. This jacket displays moderate use and has an expandable waist section. Brett signed his name on his number on the back and this item comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (B53103) and a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
