A fixture in Yankees pinstripes for 14 seasons, Don Mattingly earned six All-Star nominations, nine Gold Glove and three Silver Slugger awards during a highly productive career. This signed, game-used Yankees hat comes from Mattingly’s 1991 season with the Bronx Bombers. The current Marlins manager signed the underside of the brim in bold, black marker just below where his number “23” was once penned for identification purposes. The white stitched, intertwined “NY” logo appears on the front of the hat, while the inside band is home to a “New Era” manufacturer’s tag, “Authentic Diamond Collection” tag and size “7 ¼” tag. The hat shows heavy signs of game use, with dirt stains on the brim and sweat marks throughout. The signed Mattingly New York Yankees’ hat comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (X90279) for the signature and a COA from Yankees Clubhouse Shop, along with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for the game use.
