The “Human Highlight Film” was fitting nickname for Dominique Wilkins, a two-time NBA Slam Dunk competition best known for his high-flying heroics. The Hall of Fame forward spent 12 seasons with the Atlanta Hawks and is 13th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list with 26,668 points.
This white 1992-93 Atlanta Hawks game used home jersey was worn by Wilkins during a season that saw the Hall of Fame forward average 29.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. “Hawks” appears across the chest of the jersey, “WILKINS” across the back and his number “21” on both sides all in red-on-gold tackle twill. The front tail of the jersey features a stitched “Champion” manufacturer’s tag with size “42.” To the left is another stitched “Champion” tag that reads “1992-93” and “BODY LENGTH +3” indicating they jersey’s year and size modifications. The left chest of the jersey features an official stitched NBA logo patch. The jersey exhibits evidence of light game use and appears to be all original. The jersey comes with an LOA from Dave Miedema, noted sports jersey expert.
