From his rookie year in 1990, Frank Thomas set about destroying Chicago White Sox franchise records. In 1993 he smashed 41 home runs to set a new club record and was the unanimous winner of the AL’s MVP Award that summer. In 1994 he had 38 homers and was on pace to smash the record again when a strike ended the season at 113 games. The White Sox slugger was also in line to take the coveted Triple Crown as he was leading the league in average and RBI’s as well.
During the 1992-95 seasons when he used this bat, no man was as feared at the plate than The Big Hurt. The WC115 model Worth bat shows excellent use with a handle crack.
