The 1992 NBA All-Star game was more than just a contest between the best players from the East and West conference. Hall of Fame point guard Magic Johnson, who retired from the NBA after the 1990-91 season due to his diagnosis of HIV. Despite his retirement, Magic was voted as a starter in the 1992 All-Star game. Magic played, and played well, leading the West to a 153-113 win over the star-studded East team. Magic recorded a game-high 25 points, nine assists, and five rebounds to earn the All-Star Game MVP Award. This would be Magic’s last NBA appearance until his inspirational comeback in 1996. He signed this 1992 All-Star Game ticket in black marker, adding the inscription “MVP” below his signature. This ticket has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA, who have deemed it authentic (83871662).
