A member and co-captain of the 1992 United States Men’s Olympic Basketball, aka “The Dream Team” that the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame dubbed “the greatest collection of basketball talent on the planet,” Hall of Fame point guard Magic Johnson achieved Olympic Gold when the United States defeated Croatia at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. The Dream Team defeated their opponents by a staggering average of 44 points, and 11 members of the vaunted team that included Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Chris Mullin, John Stockton, Larry Bird, Scottie Pippen, Karl Malone, Patrick Ewing, David Robinson, Clyde Drexler individually have entered the Hall of Fame and collectively as The Dream Team in 2010.  Johnson spent 13 seasons in the NBA where he earned five Paul O’Brien trophies, three Finals MVP Awards, and three NBA MVP Awards before retiring after an HIV diagnosis in 1992.

Presented here is a white pullover mesh Team USA Olympic jersey that features blue mesh on the lateral sides coupled with red, white, and navy trim. “USA BASKETBALL” appears across the chest in red, white, and blue tackle twill. The number “15” appears on the chest and back of the jersey in red-on-navy tackle twill. A navy embroidered Nike “Swoosh” logo appears on the jersey’s right shoulder.
