Tupac Shakur was one of the greatest and most influential musical artists of the modern age. His albums, such as 2Pacalypse Now, Me Against the World, and All Eyez on Me are beloved classics, with All Eyez on Me achieving 10x platinum status. It was also announced that Tupac has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and is a part of the Class of 2017 inductees.

In 1996, Tupac was gunned down in one of the most famous unsolved murders in recent memory. While leaving the Mike Tyson vs Bruce Seldon boxing match, a white Cadillac pulled up next to Tupac’s vehicle, with an unknown assailant unleashing a barrage of shots into Tupac’s vehicle. Tupac was shot four times and rushed to the hospital, where he died the next day. No one has ever been charged with his murder.

This check, from Wells Fargo Bank, is signed twice by Tupac. He signed the front and back of the check in black ballpoint pen. The check was signed on June 24, 1992, a year after the release of his first solo album, 2Pacalypse Now. The check is made out to cash for the value of $4,000. The blue writing on the check was penned in an unknown hand, but all black writing was written by Tupac. The check is in excellent condition. This item comes with a JSA LOA (Y32189).
