Dubbed “The Dream Team” due to the sheer amount of National Basketball Association talent assembled on one team, the 1992 United States Men’s Olympic Basketball Team steamrolled through their international opponents during the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. Going a perfect 8-0, the Dream Team defeated their opponents by an average of 44 points per game, defeating Croatia to earn the gold medal. The team was credited with spreading awareness of basketball around the world and the greatest team ever assembled was enshrined collectively in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.

Presented here is a 11 7/8 x 12-inch 1992 U.S.A. Basketball Team calendar. The cover of the calendar features all 12 members of the Dream Team set against an American flag backdrop. The cover is labeled “DREAM TEAM THE GREATEST TEAM EVER! 1993 BONUS 16-MONTH CALENDAR” in blue and yellow. “ONE TIME COLLECTOR’S ITEM” appears in yellow on the right corner of the cover. The USA BASKETBALL team logo appears on the bottom right corner. The back cover of the calendar shows images of all 12 members in mid-play in a sports card type layout. The inside of the calendar features images of each player, with each player signing under their image. Key signatures include Hall of Famers Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Chris Mullin, Scottie Pippen, Karl Malone, Clyde Drexler, Christian Laettner, John Stockton, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, and Magic Johnson. 11 of the 12 members were individually enshrined in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame and collectively together in 2010. All twelve signatures were signed with a black marker. The front cover of the calendar features some warping and there is evidence of edging and cornering. The 1993 calendar featuring the 1992 Dream Team signed by all 12 members comes with an LOA from Beckett Authentication.
