It was known as the Dream Team, and was a collection of many of the greatest basketball players of all time on one United States Olympic team. It was the perfect confluence of events, with these great players in their prime along with the first opportunity for American professional players to participate in the Olympics. After the American team of collegiate players finished 3rd in 1988, there were calls for professionals to play.

      The 1992 Dream Team was so popular that others countries team were “very proud” just to play against them, taking photos with the American stars even though the other team had little opportunity to keep the score within 50 points. This Spalding David Stern Official NBA basketball has been signed in black Sharpie by all players on this team including Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Patrick Ewing, Chris Mullin, Clyde Drexler, David Robinson, John Stockton, Karl Malone, Scottie Pippen, Charles Barkley and the youngster Christian Laettner. This is a dream of an Olympic signed item of the original Dream Team and comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (U03768).
