Willie Randolph was a standout player for the New York Yankees. A member of the 1977 and 1978 World Series-winning teams, Randolph was a steady presence at second base and at the plate. Randolph finished his career with 2,210 hits. Randolph’s final season in the Majors was spent with his hometown New York Mets.
Randolph wore this gray road jersey and pants during the 1992 season. The Russell Atheltic button-down size 42 jersey was worn by Randolph during the 1992 season features “NEW YORK” sewn on the front in blue, orange and white tackle twill. The Russell Athletic tag, along with the “NEW YORK METS 92s” tag are sewn on the bottom front left tail. The sleeves and sides have blue and orange stripes outlined in white with a white “S” patch in memory of William Shea is sewn on the left sleeve. The back of the jersey has Randolph’s number “12” sewn on in blue, orange and white tackle twill. The jersey displays light use and Randolph has signed his name in black marker below the “2” on the back and inscribed “92 Game Used Final Season”.
The matching gray pants were manufactured by Rawlings. There are blue and orange stripes outlined in white on the outside of each leg. The inner waist has the Red Rawlings tag and the white tag that reads “12 RANDOLPH 33-34 27 92R”. These jersey and pants derive from the Willie Randolph Collection and come with a signed LOA from Willie Randolph.
