A .288 career hitter, former Cincinnati Reds and New York Yankees outfielder Paul O’Neill topped the .300 mark in six different seasons including an AL leading .359 in the strike shortened season of 1994. This Louisville Slugger signature model C243 was issued during the 1993-1997 seasons in which he hit a combined .317 with 103 homers. The bat is un-cracked and shows heavy use. The barrel carries many ball marks with black bat rack paint streaks and cleat imprints. The handle has been taped in a crisscross pattern to enhance the grip and a moderate coat of pine tar has been applied. O’Neill has signed the barrel in blue marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (E36389) & Yankees COA for the game use and a JSA COA (S21480) for the signature.
