The Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was presented with this silver plate by the Chilean athletic club Universidad Catolica. While Universidad Catolica are primarily known for their soccer team, the basketball squad won the Chilean domestic league five times, a national record. This offered silver plate measures approximately 9.5 inches in diameter. A raised Club Deportivo Universidad Catolica crest is applied to the plate, while it is also etched with “El Club Deportivo Universidad Catolica / A Kareem Abdul Jabbar / En recuerdo de su visita / Santiago, Noviembre de 1993”. This silver plate comes in a blue case. It is accompanied by a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
