Hall of Famer Michael Strahan played in 15 games during the 1994 season where he had 4.5 sacks, 27 solo tackles and one forced fumble playing at the right defensive end position. Strahan wore this white New York Giants road jersey during the 1994 season as the NFL celebrated its 75th Anniversary. In celebration of the league’s 75th Anniversary, the teams were allowed to wear “throwback” uniforms for selected games throughout the season. For the New York Giants, their throwback uniforms were based on the 1961 models, where the away jerseys featured white with red numbers, compared to the blue numbers with red outlined the team wore in the 90’s.
This offered size 46 jersey was manufactured by Apex and features Strahan’s number “92” sewn on the front, back and shoulders in red tackle twill. This white knit jersey has the sleeves shortened to fit over the shoulder pads and edged in a red and white three-stripe pattern in a ribbed material. The Apex manufacturer’s tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail with “46” and “LONG” tags attached. “STRAHAN” is sewn on in red tackle twill on a matching white nameplate above his number on the back of the jersey and the Apex logo patches are sewn on in red and white on each sleeve. On the upper left chest is the “NFL 75” patch that was worn by all teams that season. Strahan signed this jersey in black marker vertically on the “9” on the back of the jersey and inscribed “92”. This jersey shows moderate game use with some stains and contact marks present and comes with a full LOA from Michael Strahan, who authenticates that he wore this jersey during the 1994 season.
