Presented in this lot is a Champion size 46 1995-96 Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls home jersey signed by “His Airness” himself. Jordan made his full-season return from Minor League Baseball in 1995-96, easily winning eighth scoring title with a stunning 30.4 points per game average as the Bulls finished the season with an NBA-record 72-10 record. The Bulls dropped only one game in their first three playoff rounds before pounding the Seattle SuperSonics in a six-game NBA Finals. Jordan took home the Finals MVP trophy with an excellent 27.3 points per game average against a prodigiously talented Seattle defense led by Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp. This offered mesh Bulls jersey is red, with Jordan’s number “23” sewn on the chest and back in black and white tackle twill. “JORDAN” is sewn across the back shoulders in black and white tackle twill, with “BULLS” sewn across the chest in the same fashion. Jordan has signed the “2” digit on the back of the jersey in silver marker. The jersey comes with an Upper Deck COA (BAC05903).
