His 1996 rookie year saw him batting .314 and making highlight-reel worthy plays virtually every game he played. He proved to be the perfect addition to the Championship-bound Yankees and that 1996 club would be considered as one of the greatest teams in MLB history. Jeter’s Rookie of the Year-era Louisville Slugger P72 model bat is un-cracked and shows good use. There are several tremendous ball marks with white leather scuffs on the barrel along with cleat imprints. A light coat of pine tar is on the handle. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17831) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10.
