Throughout the 1990’s and 2000’s, Chipper Jones was among the best third baseman in baseball, a perennial All-Star who could hit for both power and average. In 2018, Jones was honored with induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame, finding a spot in Cooperstown on his first ballot. The Atlanta Braves superstar compiled a .303 batting average for his career while crushing 468 home runs. Jones led the Braves to a World Series title in 1995, and claimed the 1999 National League MVP Award with a Triple Crown slash of .319/45/110. Jones, the 2008 National League batting champ, retired after the 2012 MLB season.

In 1995, Jones’ first year back from a serious knee injury that eliminated his entire 1994 season, the slugging third baseman led the Braves to their first World Series title since their days in Atlanta. This bat is a Rawlings Adirondack Chipper Jones MS20 model, and it has been signed by 22 of Jones’ 1995 Braves teammates. The signatures include the Hall of Famers Greg Maddux, Bobby Cox, John Smoltz, and Tom Glavine, while the remaining signatures have been written by Steve Avery, Marquis Grissom, Ryan Klesko, Javier Lopez, Fred McGriff, Pedro Borbon, Jim Beauchamp, Rafael Belliard, Brad Clontz, Mike Devereaux, David Justice, Mike Mordecai, Charlie O’Brien, Alejandro Pena, Eduardo Perez, Luis Polonia, Jason Schmidt, and Dwight Smith. The signatures have been written in black marker, and “Jones 33” is written on the knob in blue pen. This item comes with a PSA/DNA STICKER ONLY (Y07253).
