Hall of Famer Dave Winfield ended his fabulous career in Cleveland at age 43. Winfield used this helmet during his last campaign when he helped the young core of Indians to the American League Championship. The well worn helmet contains multiple areas of scraping and paint loss, has the Chief Wahoo logo applied to the front with the ABC logo on the back next to the name “WINFIELD” on a strip of dyno tape. Inside is a faded “Property of Cleveland Indians” stamp applied to the inner foam padding. A bold, black marker “Dave Winfield” is on the brim. This helmet comes with a full LOA from MEARS who have graded this item a perfect A10, and a LOA from PSA/DNA (AA04533).
