A colorful and controversial character Mitch “Wild Thing” Williams is unfortunately best remembered for giving up Joe Carter’s 1993 World- Series- ending walk-off home run in the Philadelphia Phillies heartbreaking loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. Williams spent the 1994 season in Houston and in 1995, he joined the California Angels. Wilson wore this Wilson A2002 fielder’s glove during the 1995 season. This glove fits over Williams’ right hand and this glove has the Wilson and MLB logos sewn on the wrist band, with a second Wilson logo located on the webbing of the basket. The Wild Thing has signed his name in silver marker on the outer thumb area and inscribed “99”. Please note that Williamss signature and part of the inscription display smudging. This glove comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA for the game use and a LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.
