Hall of Fame center Patrick Ewing wore these Nike Force high-top basketball sneakers during the 1996-97 NBA season, his 10th consecutive All-Star season with the New York Knicks. Ewing scored 22.4 points and grabbed 10.7 rebounds per game as he led the Knicks to 57 victories and an appearance in the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Miami Heat. Ewing played three more seasons with the Knicks, ending his career in 2002 after spending time with the Seattle SuperSonics and Orlando Magic. Ewing was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2008.

These high-top shoes are primarily white, with navy blue accents. Two navy blue Nike swoosh logos and a metallic silver swoosh are applied to the outside of each shoe. Each tongue features a metallic silver Nike swoosh, and “FORCE” is embroidered in navy blue lettering on each heel. Ewing has signed the toe of each shoe in black marker. These shoes come with a LOA from JSA for the signature and a LOA from Philip Coca, the personal assistant to the late owner of the Los Angeles Lakers, Jerry Buss.
