2018 Hall of Fame inductee Chipper Jones wore this white Atlanta Braves home jersey during the 1996 World Series. Jones, the 1999 National League MVP, was the driving force behind a powerful Atlanta offense in 1996, hitting for a .309 batting average with 30 longballs and a team-high 110 RBI. The Florida native, along with the Braves trio of Hall of Fame starting pitchers, propelled the Braves to one of their MLB-record 12 consecutive division titles in 1996. The Braves reached the World Series for the second consecutive year, where they faced the New York Yankees. The Braves fought the Yankees tooth and nail, but were ultimately unable to defend their World Series title in a thrilling six game Fall Classic. Jones finished the series with a .286 batting average, as well as three RBI and three runs scored.

The Braves played Games 3, 4, and 5 at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium, where Jones would have worn this button-down jersey. “Braves” is sewn across the chest in red and navy blue tackle twill above a tomahawk logo patch. “JONES” is sewn across the back shoulders in navy blue tackle twill over a matching white nameplate, and his number “10” is sewn on the back in red and navy blue tackle twill. A 1996 World Series patch is sewn on the right sleeve of the jersey. A Wilson tag with attached size “44” and “Tapered” flags is sewn on the front left tail of the jersey above a “96” tag. The front of the jersey and the sleeve openings are accented with red and blue piping. Jones has signed the “1” digit on the back of the jersey in black marker. This comes with a LOA from JSA (Z76401) for the signature. This jersey displays moderate use and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
