Offered here is a 1996 USA Men’s Olympic Jacket from the personal collection of former Jazz head coach Jerry Sloan, who was an assistant coach with the team. This size L green leather jacket has the flags of the nations that competed in the 1996 Olympic basketball tournament during the Atlanta Games. The back of the jacket has the “Atlanta 1996” logo, along with the Olympic rings, “100” and “Atlanta 1996” embroidered in gold. This jacket has been signed by members of the gold medal winning team on the back. Signatures include Reggie Miller, Anfernee Hardaway, Mitch Richmond, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Grant Hill, Gary Payton, David Robinson, Scottie Pippen, Shaquille O’Neal and one other. The front of the jacket has been signed by Sloan himself, along with Head Coach Lenny Wilkens, Bobby Cremins, Clem Haskins and two others. NBA commissioner David Stern referred to Sloan as "one of the greatest and most respected coaches in NBA history". Sloan was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009.
