Using this bat, Greg Maddux managed to hit a combined .176 for 1997 and 1998. Fortunately, he was much better throwing the ball than hitting it, because he turned in seasons of 19 and 18 wins to pitch the Atlanta Braves to the post-season. This Louisville Slugger L157 model bat is un-cracked and shows excellent use. Several ball marks and stitch impressions can be seen on the barrel along with white leather ball scuffs and blue ink transfers. Maddux’s number “31” is hand written on the knob in black marker and the Hall of Famer has signed the barrel to the right of the center brand. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B06255) for the game use and a LOA from PSA/DNA (AC04511) for the signature.
