The Mailman, arguably the greatest power forward to play the game, was a two-time NBA MVP and was named one of the 50 greatest players in league history in 1996. This white 1997-98 Karl Malone Utah Jazz game used home jersey is very recognizable with its elaborate mountain scene design featuring “JAZZ” across the chest in blue-and-purple stitching on white tackle twill and black-and-green background. Malone’s number “32” appears on the front and reverse sides in purple and-white on green tackle twill and “MALONE” is stitched in purple across the top back of the jersey. The upper left chest features the official NBA logo patch. The front tail of the jersey features a white “Champion” manufacturer’s tag with size “52.” To the left is another stitched “Champion” tag with the Utah Jazz logo and an affixed tag that reads “1997-1998” and “BODY LENGTH +4” indicating the jersey’s year and size modifications. The jersey exhibits evidence of light game use and appears to be all original. The jersey comes with an LOA from Dave Miedema, noted sports jersey expert.
