Shaquille O’Neal was one of the most dominant centers in NBA history and formed a lethal partnership with Kobe Bryant, winning three NBA Titles in a row with the Los Angeles Lakers (four overall), including three straight finals MVP’s from 2000-2002. The 1997-1998 season was a solid season for O’Neal, as he a scoring average of 28.3 points per game and a league leading field goal percentage (.584). Presented here are a pair of Reebok white with purple accents sneakers that were worn by O’Neal during the 1997-98 season. These size 22 sneakers are mostly white with patterned purple accents on the sides. The tops of the tongues have the Reebok logo in a yellow and purple circular border. The heels have Shaq’s logo and the soles are white with purple dots. The size tag is on the inside tongue and is marked “SAMPLE PYE”. These sneakers display heavy game use and Shaq has signed each of these sneakers on the inside top ankles in silver marker. These sneakers come with a LOA from MEARS (317778) for the game use and individual LOAs from JSA (BB38434 – right & BB38433 – left) for the signatures.
