New York Yankees centerfielder Bernie Williams wore this pinstriped Yankees home jersey during the 1997 MLB season, his first year as an All-Star. Williams hit .328 in 1997, adding 21 homers, 100 RBI, and 15 stolen bases for the 96-66 Yankees. Williams played his entire 16 season career with the Yankees, winning four World Series titles, four Gold Glove Awards, and hitting at a .297 clip.
This button-down pinstriped home jersey has the Yankees interlocking “NY” logo sewn on the left chest in navy tackle twill. Williams’ number “51” is sewn on the back of the jersey in navy tackle twill. A Russell Athletic size “46” tag with an attached “100% Polyester” flag is sewn on the front left tail. A “Williams 97” tag is sewn beneath the Russell Athletic tag. This jersey comes with a Yankees-Steiner Sports hologram.
