Hall of Fame catcher Mike Piazza wore this left Asics cleat circa 1998-99. Piazza began the 1998 campaign with the Dodgers before a series of trades sent him to the Florida Marlins (for a five-game cameo) and later the New York Mets. Between the three ballclubs, Piazza hit 32 homers with 111 RBI and a .326 batting average. Piazza was even better in 1999, his first complete year with the Mets. The Southeastern Pennsylvania native hit 40 round trippers with 124 RBI and a .303 batting average as he was named to his seventh consecutive National League All-Star team.

This left Asics cleat is a high-top shoe with white Asics logos sewn on each side. “31”, “Gel”, and “Mike Piazza” are embroidered on or near the heel. The tongue is white and accented with a black Asics logo. The sole of the cleat features seven metal spikes. Piazza has signed the toe of this cleat in silver marker. Heavy wear is visible on this cleat. This item comes with a LOA from JT Sports for the game use and a COA from PSA/DNA (4A10663).
